Getting good sleep is super important, especially when you're a teenager. Here's how to get the best sleep possible:
- Stick to a Schedule
Try to go to bed and wake up at the same time every day, even on weekends. - Create a Relaxing Bedroom Environment
- Keep your room cool (around 65°F/18°C)
- Make it dark (use blackout curtains)
- Keep it quiet or use white noise
- Power Down Devices
Stop using phones, tablets, and computers at least 1 hour before bed. The blue light messes with your sleep hormones! - Watch What You Eat and Drink
- No caffeine after 2 PM
- Avoid big meals before bedtime
- Don't drink too much liquid before bed
