The Best Way to steam garlic in the instant pot

Hey there! Steaming garlic in an Instant Pot is actually really simple. Here's how to do it:

  1. Take your whole head of garlic and cut about 1/4 inch off the top (the pointy end) so you can see all the cloves inside
  2. Pour 1 cup of water into your Instant Pot
  3. Put the trivet (the metal rack that came with your pot) inside
  4. Place the garlic head on the trivet with the cut side facing up
  5. Close the lid and make sure the valve is set to 'sealing'
  6. Press the 'Pressure Cook' or 'Manual' button and set for 4 minutes
  7. When it's done, do a quick release of the pressure

That's it! The garlic will be super soft and you can just squeeze the cloves out.

Pro Tip: You can steam multiple heads at once - just make sure they're not stacked on top of each other!
