The Best Way to steam edamame
Hey there! Steaming edamame is super easy. Here's how to do it:
- Fill a pot with about 1 inch of water
- Put a steamer basket in the pot (make sure the water doesn't touch the bottom of the basket)
- Bring the water to a boil
- Put your edamame in the steamer basket
- Cover the pot with a lid
- Steam for 5-6 minutes if frozen, or 3-4 minutes if fresh
- Take them out and sprinkle with some salt
Pro tip: You'll know they're done when the pods turn a bright green color!
