The Best Way to soften cream cheese

Just take the cream cheese out of the fridge and leave it on your counter. This is the easiest way but takes about an hour. - Microwave Method (10-15 seconds)
Take cream cheese out of its foil wrapper, put it on a microwave-safe plate, and heat for 10 seconds. If it's still hard, add 5 more seconds. - Warm Water Method (10-15 mins)
Put the sealed cream cheese package in a bowl of warm (not hot!) water. Change the water if it gets cold.
