The Best Way to make wine
Note: You must be of legal age to make wine in your country. In the US, you must be 21 or older.
What You'll Need:
- Fresh grapes or fruit
- Sugar
- Wine yeast
- Large fermentation container
- Airlock
- Bottles for storage
Basic Steps:
- Clean and crush your fruit
- Add sugar and yeast
- Let it ferment for 2-3 weeks
- Strain the liquid
- Age for at least 1 month
Detailed Instructions:
1. Wash and crush your fruit in a clean container.
2. For every gallon of crushed fruit, add:
- 2 pounds of sugar
- 1 packet of wine yeast
3. Cover the container with a cloth and let it sit in a warm place (70-75°F).
4. After 2-3 weeks, strain out solid materials.
5. Transfer to bottles and age for at least a month.
