The Best Way to make hummus

Hey there! Want to make amazing hummus that's way better than store-bought? Here's how to do it!

What You'll Need:

  • 1 (15 oz) can of chickpeas (also called garbanzo beans)
  • 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice (about 1 large lemon)
  • 1/4 cup tahini
  • 1 small garlic clove, minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
  • Salt to taste
  • 2-3 tablespoons water
  • Paprika for sprinkling on top

Steps:

  1. Drain and rinse the chickpeas
  2. Put everything except the water in a food processor
  3. Blend until smooth (about 1 minute)
  4. Add water slowly while blending until you get the perfect creamy texture
  5. Taste and add more salt if needed

Pro Tip: For super smooth hummus, pop the skins off the chickpeas first. It takes a few minutes but makes it extra creamy!
