The Best Way to cook scallops

Want to cook amazing scallops? Here's the easiest way to do it!

  1. Pat your scallops dry with paper towels. This is super important!
  2. Season both sides with just salt and pepper
  3. Get a pan really hot (like medium-high heat) with a little butter and oil
  4. Place scallops in the pan and DON'T TOUCH THEM for 2-3 minutes
  5. Flip them over when they're golden brown on the bottom
  6. Cook another 1-2 minutes until they're slightly firm

Pro Tips:

  • Don't overcook them - they should still be a little translucent in the middle
  • Don't crowd the pan - leave space between each scallop
  • If you see white liquid (milk) coming out of them, they're overcooked!
