The Best Way to cook lamb
Cooking lamb doesn't have to be scary! Here's the easiest way to make amazing lamb:
- Take the lamb out of the fridge 30 minutes before cooking (this helps it cook evenly)
- Rub it with olive oil, salt, pepper, and rosemary
- Heat your oven to 375°F (190°C)
- For a medium-rare lamb leg or chops:
- 25 minutes per pound for a leg
- 7-8 minutes per side for chops
- Let it rest for 10-15 minutes after cooking
Pro Tips:
- Use a meat thermometer if you have one: 135°F (57°C) for medium-rare
- Don't overcook it - lamb is best pink in the middle!
